birth certificates for my g.grandparents

Post by leash »

Hi I am thinking of requesting a birth certificate for my g.grandparents. But I would like to know does it list the children they have had, or even on there marriage certificate. I belive my nan had siblings and would like to trace them to trace her siblings children.
Thank you
Known surnames- Mollica, Alba, Cannella, Secchitano
I would like to research my family history and find out as much as I can =)

a birth certificate is just for the person you ask for. What you are looking for is a Stato di Famiglia.

Is it difficult to obtain this Stato Familia? The stato civil would have to search though a lot of records to get his, right? There is not centeral record of each familyis there?
