Fanin family

I am looking for the origin of the surname Fanin and the Italian Genealogy. The name of my grandfather is Alfredo Fanin, sun of Amabile Mian and Luiz Fanin, borned in 1907/04/29 - Bagnaria Arsa - Italy. His family came to Brasil in 1924/12/26, in the ship Belvedere, leaving from Trieste.
I am trying to obtain his document from Italy to ask for my Italian citizen, but the Consulate in Brasil did not find any information.

Go to www.google.com in Brazil and click on the right side search ape... Out Italianos in the title and research for arrival reecords in brazil and you may find the town of origin in Italy. SAs you know you need the town of origin in Italy to know the family obtain documents and research hisotry of your family. There is no open reocrd for origin of birth for immigrants to Brazil, Argentina, uruguay or Chile. Peter
