Addressing Christmas cards

Post by TomG »

I'd like to know how to address Christmas cards to send to Italy. We found and met several cousins in the last year, and we'd like to send cards. Since the women don't take their husband's last names how do we address the card--would just the Familia Pellegrinelli be ok? Also if we are referring to a family of cousins do you use cuginas or cuginos? Thanks.

Famiglia Pellegrinelli is OK.

Although women keep their maiden name, you may use the husband name and address to
Mario e Cristina Pellegrinelli

If you refer o a family of cousins you have to use cugini, which is the plural of cugino
