Noble family Astalli - Rome 18th Century

As a nation state, Italy has emerged only in 1871. Until then the country was politically divided into a large number of independant cities, provinces and islands. The currently available evidences point out to a dominant Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultural influence on today's Italians.

Noble family Astalli - Rome 18th Century

Post by Reggio »

I am trying to find information regarding the family of the last marchesi Astalli during the first half of the 18th century. I believe he had two daughters, Laura, Prudenza. I would like to find more details.

Grazie molto,

Go to www.romeartlover.it/vasi195.htm#astalli which may shed some light. Go to www.google.com for additional research. Peter

Grazie molto,
Hi: I've read that: The noble Astalli family she is extinguished, for lack of descendants males, and Astalli's women are met in noble Theodoli family .. this new, means that Astalli womens married Theodoli men..the Theodoli family living in Rome and in Sambuci (Rome province) and sure was an Girolamo Theodoli around 1878, and an son Alberto Theodoli around 1940, and Nicolò Theodoli around 1960.. In Sambuci ancient Theodoli's residence it was sold and in 1991 it was acquired from Sambuci Common.. if you know aproximative year of Birth , of Laura and Prudenza, for your question you can to write to Rome Common and Sambuci Common..regards, suanj
