FamilySearch German records
Hi, all. I just found out that FamilySearch.com has German records going back to the 1500's, online. I have already gotten back to 1750, so before I get too thrilled, I wanted to know how reliable these records are, as I am always careful when it comes to trusting electronic databases.
My Italian surnames:
Caserta: Maietta, Rossano, Tessitore, Negro, Peluso, Musone
Campobasso: D'Andrea, Barile
Catanzaro: Fiorelli/Fiorillo, Romito

Re: FamilySearch German records
Family Search records are usually VERRRY accurate although there may be a spelling mistake, etc here and there from the persons extracting the info. As with all online resource databases, you should double check and confirm information but I have a lot of faith in this site.

I'm really excited about this, as I have a few German lines on my father's side. FamilySearch.com is really a great site. I'm amazed at all the records they offer for free.
