Tamborra from Terlizzi Puglia

Post by Rosiedelia »

Dear All

Looking for more information about my great grandmother Chiara Stella Tamborra born in Terlizzi in later 1800 married to Francesco DÉlia. They had two sons Vincenzo and Michele. Does any one have a connection they can share with me.

Hi, Rosie.

Just to be clear, did your great-grandmother emigrate to Australia or did she live and die in Italy?

Is there a Giuseppe, Domenico, or Rosa in your family ancestry?

Click here for the National Archives of Australia http://recordsearch.naa.gov.au/scripts/ ... [Microsoft][ODBC%20Driver%20Manager]%20Data%20source%20name%20not%20found%20and%20no%20default%20driver%20specified

Click "Login" and then "Guest".

Enter tamborra in the Keywords box and click Search.

On the next page (6 records found) click "Display".

The final two records on the next page (Giuseppe, prisonor of war records) are available in digital copy by clicking the "View digital copy" links.

For the other records, you click the Control Symbol link and then follow the directions to request copies.

Hope this helps!

PS: The two prisioner of war records for Giuseppe show his birthplace as Terlizzi, his wife's name Maria, and father's names Damiano, mother's maiden name M. Sabatina Camillo
