Looking for info on Angelo & Mary Guarino possibly from

I am THRILLED and want to thank all of you. The obit is AMAZING. That is my family. I fly to San Jose, CA in November to meet those long lost cousins and will have all of this information to share.

Do you think we could find Dominick's death obit here as well? I can't believe you found Mary's obit so quickly. Dominick died Sept 17, 1934. The death certificate says Grocery. It's the cause of death that is interesting. He died from Internal hemorrhage following gun shot wound in head. He was married to Josephine Rodrigue and was 48 years old.

I believe that Mary correct maiden name was Chimento....

Wow... Thank you Valerie for all of the Dominick information.

His was a very sad story with an unfortunate violent end. I don't think he was ever very close with his family. My father was a child when his uncle Dominick died and didn't really know him at all.

From the horrible events surrounding Dominick's death and following news articles, I learned a great deal about him and my family.

Dominick was married three times, Yikes!
Mary Exnicious (mother of his sons Angelo and Frank Guarino)
Josephine Rodrigue
Tina Chimento

Now the sad horrible death was over a domestic dispute with Josephine Rodrigue and her family. But notice the last name of his third wife... CHIMENTO! That was Dominick's mother's maiden name. Did some Chimentos come to America as well? Were they cousins/relatives? Amazing how much information I've received from a few little clues.

We did not know Dominick had children. I spoke with my newfound cousins in San Jose, CA and they didn't think any of the Angelo and Mary Guarino sons had living relatives.

Dominick has sons I need to find info on now. The men have been surprisingly difficult to research.

Dominick's mystery is almost completely solved.

My grandfather, Santo Joseph "Sam" Guarino I have plenty of info on.

Salvador... after marrying Lillian Antoinette Conrad and having Angelo Henry and a daughter, I'm not sure what happened to him. No clue when he died or where he is buried. I'm certain I have living relatives somewhere in New Orleans connected to Salvador.

The women, in California, I have quite a bit of info on. AND I'm flying to San Jose to meet my long lost cousins next month. One is 93 years old and I hope she can share some valuable information.

Though Dominick's story is sad and shameful, I'd rather know what happened than not!

I did a blanket Guarino search on genealogybank and it's tedious scrolling through but I'm finding a ton of info. I found Mary Exnicious Werther's obit. She was Dominick's first wife. I'd attach but its a pdf. I'll figure this all out.

I am very encouraged with all of this information.

I also found two articles on Julie (Reinhart) Guarino's kidnapping. My grandparents had custody of their neice and her mother kidnapped her at age 8. My grandparents let her go rather than press charges against his sister Josephine. They grieved over her their entire life. I have beautiful photos of Julia.

I still can't believe how quickly this puzzle is coming together.
