The other thing I forgot to mention is that Benevento is both a city and a province. Do you know if they were from the city or from another town within the province? This is very important information to help us guide you in your search.

I would think Piazza Armerina and the surounding area. I have come to find out that my Grandfather Lorenzo Romano was born in Aidone Sicily. His father was Salvatore Fillipo Romano and his mother was Maria Fillipa Ristagno.
