Looking for ancester
Looking for ancester
I am looking for an ancester by the name of Antonio Dicentes. His name was changed from Dicenzo or Dicensi when coming to America. I know his birthday (01/04/1856) and were he was born (Rome, Italy), wife, and children, but have found nothing when searching in all the different databases. Can anyone give any ideas or tips?

Yup, I have tried ancestry.com, geneology.com, mycinnamontoast.com, familysearch.com, rootsweb.com. Every where that I can find a free or semi free search database, yet nothing.
Re: Looking for ancester
Amanda there are 9 towns with persons hvaing the DI CENZO surname and 50 towns with persons having the DI CENSO surname and both happen to be distributed in Italy in the same pettern with just one or several towns in the Lazio region where Rome is located and the bulk in Abruzzo region adjoining Lazio. Where did you even pick the Di Censo or Di Cenzo surname? Money goes with DI CENSO but you cannot overllok DI CENZO either. You need just a little more information on him and so do I. Do you know anything of his arrival in the USA even family storys about him will be better than nothing..... COUGH IT UP !! Peter
