Charles Gaspare Milazzo
My family is looking for descendants of Vincent Milazzo and Lucy Lipani a married couple who are definitely deceased, however there are two children that we know of, and here are their names:Cosmo Milazzo born May 1,1896 and his brother, Charles(Gaspare) Milazzo unknown month or day, but certain of year of birth as 1904.
This Charles was reputed to have been incarcerated in a New Jersey Prison, most likely Rahway or Trenton? We are not sure. The connection between us is that Charles was married to a Francis Guagliardo on November 19, 1931, in Union City, New Jersey. The witmesses were (spelled the best way I could interpret; Anthony Viarra of Union City New Jersey and Thomas Neggia of North Bergen New Jersey At the time of this union, Charles Gaspare Milazzo resided on 126 Hudson Place, Norht Bergen NJ and Francis Guagliardo resided at 406-43rd Street, Union City NJ. Charles did not see his son born, because his wife Francis returned to Peckville, Pa after discovering her newly wed husband was married to another women. We have a handwritten letters from Charles from a prison in Trenton. In this letter, he pleads with Francis to not listen to "the Lies" of others who had accused him of bigamy . In anaother letter, he continues to declare his innocence and states that if she does not take him back, when he is released he will try to reenter the US by using his brothers' birth certificate ( brother is Cosmo D.O.B. May 1, 1896 ) OR he will return to Italy and then enter Venezuela? This part is open for interpretation.
