just wondering if anyone has any information on the town Ruvo del Monte, Italy..for some reason I cannot find much information on it..My family was from there but I was wondering if maybe the name changed..I am looking to see if there are other relatives still over there...thanks

f you go to www.comuni.it and insert Ruvo del Monte in the lower right corner and the town name comes up you can click on the name and you can send a direct e-mail to the Mayor and municpality to make any inquiries you may wish. You do not say thast you can read italian but if you go to www.paginebianche.it and insert your family name int eh first line and Ruvo Del Monte in the third line and click CERCA a listing will appear ofsons in the town with that last name and they are most likely relatives . The postal code is 85020 for the town and it is in the province of Potenza. If you can read Italian you can go to www.tiscali.it and insert the name of the town. Peter

When you get to www.tiscali.it and uinsert the name of Ruvo Del Monte select the first two listings and that will give you fotos and information on the town right off. if you continue on youcan get to know just about everything connected with and in that town. Peter
