Anyone care to take a shot at transcribing?

Post by jfalduti »

I just got this tonight from my local FHC. I was excited to finally get to see this but was a bit disappointed in the quality. I scanned the best image I could, but it's still a bit difficult to read. It would probably help if I was used to reading these and was fluent. Would anyone care to take a shot?

Here are the basics of the document: it's an Atti di Nascita from Verbicaro, Cosenza, Calabria. The baby's name is Salvadore La Moglie. From what I can make out and already know, the father's name is Domenico. The mother's name looks like Marta Gamba (Gambi?). And looks like the birth date was November 25, 1867.

Could someone do a crack at the rest?

(PS Sorry I know it's very big I don't know how to make it smaller on here.)

Thanks!

Hi,

maybe Angelo La Moglie's occupation was Pecoraro?

Che ne pensi Livio?

Did you mean Angelo's occupation, or did you mean Domenico's?
