D'Argenio from Avellino

My husband's grandfather, Carmine D'Argenio (1872-1953) came to the USA about 1921 from Avellino, Campamia, Italy. I belive his father was Modestino D'Argenio (1852-1916)who was born and died in Avellino. We do not have any documentation that Modestino is actually the father of Carmine. We are trying to trace the D'Argenio family in Italy and in the United States. Any help with the family history would be greatly appreciated.
