I am looking for information about my great grandfather, Alfonso Gemignani, who was born in Valpromaro, communa di Lucca, and he went to Argentina.

There is one person in Valpromaro that has the Gedmignani surname. Go to www,paginebiabnche.it and insert gemiugnani in first line and promaro in the third line and click cerca. Giovanni Gimigani will show up woth addrress and telephone number. You may wish tol write him in Italian, simple english or simple spanish and ask him about your grandfather. Since you don\'t specify whether you have your grnadfathers date or year of birthm I don\'t know if you want documents. Please specify just what information you are seeking so I can direct you accordingly. Peter
