Need help translating a response from Comune di Messina!

Last week I sent an email to the Comune di Messina requesting information about my great-grandfather Paolo Sulfaro who died in WW1. I've been able to translate most of their response using google translate, but I'd love it if someone could explain to me what documents they say they've found. I've already paid for them using Paypal (any documents are good documents!) but it doesn't sound like these will be the military documents I were after. What do you think?

Con riferimento alla Sua richiesta si comunica che effettuate accurate ricerche nei registri del fondo Leva di Messina e provincia è stato trovato l'esito di Leva di Sulfaro Paolo figlio di Giuseppe e di Sulfaro Giuseppa, nato nel Comune di Giardini (prov. di Messina) il 25 ottobre 1882, mentre, nei registri del fondo Distretto Militare di Messina - Ruoli Matricolari - Volume n. 69 - Matricola n. 16409 è stato trovato il foglio matricolare dello stesso.
Nessun altro tipo di documentazione è conservata presso il nostro Istituto. Per quanto attiene al decesso e sepoltura del Suo avo, la S.V. potrà rivolgersi al comune di Giardini dove il sig. Sulfaro Paolo è nato o presso il comune di Montalbano Elicona dove sembra avesse domicilio al momento dell'invio in congedo (ciò risulta dal foglio matricolare).

Se la S.V. desidera ricevere copia dei 2 documenti dovrà effettuare un versamnto di Euro 9.80 (euro 0.30 per spese di riproduzione, euro 6.00 diritto fisso per n. 2 unità archivistiche, euro 1.50 per tassa PayPal ed euro 2.00 per spese di spedizione) mediante il servizio PayPal eleonora.dellavalle@beniculturali.it ed inviarci copia dell'avvenuto versamento e di un Suo documento di riconoscimento a questa mail.

Thanks Marty, your translation makes things a little more clear for me. I don't understand why they wouldnt have information of his death, if they have his conscription documents, but I have contacted Giardini and Montalbano Elicona so hopefully they'll turn something out!

Se non l'hai già visto nell'Albo d'Oro dei Caduti della Grande Guerra Paolo SULFARO di Giuseppe risulta:DISPERSO.

"soldato 248° reggimento fanteria, nato il 25 ottobre 1882 a Messina, distretto militare di Messina, disperso il 22 maggio 1917 sul monte Vodice in combattimento"

N.B.
sicuramente la stessa persona anche se viene scritto nato " a Messina "
