1825 Birth Record, Biase de Sanctis

[JOHN08]

On the 3rd of February 1825 at 8 p.m., Biase ? de Sanctis was born, the same was born of Angela Angelucci, age 40?, living in Lama, and of Filippo de Sanctis, age 50?, profession peasant farmer.

I have research the given name "Biase" and could not find any reference to this as a given name.

Thanks for any help.

John

Your translation is correct Biase is an old variation of Biagio.
