I submitted my GF-F-Me application yesterday at DC's Consulate. The appt took about 10 minutes at the window with the efficient and friendly Sga. Provenzano. When I asked how long the process would take, though, she respond two years, at this time, due to a backlog. Has anyone had a similar experience in DC and had things move faster? I'm thinking in a couple months, I'll send an email and just ask if she needs anything and check-in more generally.
