Gioiosa Marea, Messina

Looking for the birthplace of my grandfather, Giuseppe Cesari. Although he emigrated from Santo Stefano Messina, his ship record stated that he, his uncle, and mother came from Gioiosa Marea. This is new info to me. Was told he was born in Santo Stefano. Anybody know where this other location is and if records may exist?

do a search of Gioiosa Marea

it shows that GIOIOSA MAREA (Messina) is the Township and

SANTO STEFANO is the section....
