Is it an absolute that one does not have to speak Italian in order to be granted citizenship? I mean, it is an absolute right based on blood????
(Of course, I know it would be advantageous to learn to speak Italian better than my rudimentary reading knowledge....and I may or may not do that in the future....it's just that there are other languages I'm concentrating on at this point in my life....)
