I've been having trouble deciphering some of the handwriting on this document.
I know is father is Pasquale LaManna, son of Fillipo. However, I'm having trouble deciphering his age.
Also, I think I saw his mother's name in there, as Gesafina Turi? Although, I'm not sure.
If I could get help deciphering Francesco's father's age, his mother's name and age and any other pertinent information, that would be great. Thanks.
Here's the link to the document as well: http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

Here is a link to the page, I checked the image and realize it can be too small to read.

Re: Help translating record for Francesco LaManna
Francesco Lamanna was born on March 1, 1898 in the house on via Carroccio. His father was Pasquale Lamanna, age 46, a carpenter, and the son of Filippo Lamanna. No info is given about Filippo. The infant's mother was Serafina Turi. She was the daughter of deceased Gaetano Turi and was a housewife living with her husband.samueljorlando wrote:Here is a link to the page, I checked the image and realize it can be too small to read.

By the way, "Di Turi" is the current surname in the town, but there is no Di preceding the surname in this record. There is another surname in this town "Tursi," but the surname does not have the letter "s" in this record, as far as I can tell.
