Tech Jobs in italy

Guys, I'm planning on moving to Italy by the end of next year and would like a few tips on which region to move. What city do you think a computer programmer like me would find the best opportunities? What is the Italian city/region notorious for it's technology industry?

Any ideas are very welcome and much appreciated.

Lombardia, Veneto, Piemonte...(all in north Italy)

My advice would be to try and fix yourslef up with a post before you make the move. Suanj is definitely correct when she states the north is your best bet but there a lot of tech companies around Rome too. It is a difficult time for the market and I know several techies who are thinking of looking for work outside of Italy!!
