Naturalization records

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Naturalization records

Post by Casurellag »

I am trying to find the Naturalization records for my relatives from Italy, and I have been unable to find them. According to census forms they were naturalized in 1900 but through Ancestry.com I have found nothing for them.

Is there another more complete source for finding these records than through Ancestry? Is there a government site that is accessible?

Thanks,

Gail

If you know in fact that they were naturalized prior to 1906, then you will have to check with the local courts in the area of their residence.
The central source (USCIS) has records that begin in 1906. Good luck.
