wording on death records

Post by dmt1955 »

what might be the meaning of the word 'vicino' after the name of a declarant?

the death records from the town of Tufo seem to use some description after the name or age of the declarants. i.e., uncle of deceased. i have seen the use of 'vicino' on many records and am curious about how this word might be used.

thanks,
donna

vicino should refer to a "neighbor"
