The question is-are you talking about the city of Palermo or the Province of Palermo which has many towns in it?

What specific individuals are you searching for? specific dates?

Thanks for your quick replies. I am searching for the names of my grandfather's siblings. I have just realised that they were actually probably born in Naples, and then moved to Palermo later. So infact I am searching for birth records for Naples for that time period.

Are you seeking a family certificate (Stato di famiglia) in Napoli? If so send an e-mail to STATO.CIVILE@COMUNE.NAPOLI.IT and ask for family certificate in their fathers name which will list the entire family memebers if available. If not available then you can request a birth record if you have a date or year of birth for each or at least an approximate year of birth give or take 5 years . Peter
