Tiglio Alto or Tiglio Basso - Serafini family

My father's birth record states that he was born in 1899 "in the place of Fraia #93" and that his father and mother resided in Tiglio ...how do I find where Fraia #93 is or was ...would this be Tiglio Alto or Tiglio Basso ...his birth was registered in the Comune of Barga.

From what I could find... There is a road from Tiglio "Localita Tiglio Alto-Fraia"
and appears to run up to the village of Tiglio Alto.

Hi Tessa,
When you say "there is a road from Tiglio 'Localita Tiglio Alto-Fraia' and appears to run up to the village of Tiglio Alto" ...does this mean that generally Tiglio Basso is referred to as TIGLIO?

My father's birth record states he was born in the family residence in Tiglio at Fraia #93 which on Google Earth is shown in the vicinity of Tiglio Alto ...should I assume then that 'Alto' was possibly left off the birth record? I'm confused about how to proceed.

Hi, further to my previous post ...

...is there somewhere that the family names of those residing in and around Tiglio Alto between 1896 and 1906 can be found?

My father, born in 1899, in Tiglio at Fraia #93 was recorded as the son of a 'landowner' which I assume means 'farmer'. Are there records showing land ownership titles for Tiglio in the late 1800's and early 1900's? If so these might help solve where he was actually born?
