Calabrian dialect

Does anyone know if nanagu (don't know the exact spelling but sounds like nana-goo) means grandpa in the Calabrian dialect? or does it mean grandma?

Are there any books or web sites that have vocabulary lists of words in the dialect?

I saw a post on the meaning of '' Dadone''. It said that nannavu is Sicilian for bisnonno. Maybe that was it but they were Calabrian, as far as we know.

Eastern Sicilian has some similarity to Calabrian (as opposed to Western Sicilian dialect). So nannavu could perhaps have been in use both places.

My family are from Basilicata, and I've noticed many of the words that appear in the dialect we spoke at home, are also used in the Sicilian dialect.

That's interesting that the Sicilian dialect is similar to the Calabrian dialect.

I found mia nonna in Calabrian dialect is nannama. Nonno is nannuzzu.
