Dated 1 October 1812 at 8 PM before Angelo Maria Pinto, mayor and official of civil records of the town of Rapone, Province of Basilicata, appeared Giuseppe Guerra, age 30, profession carpenter, residing in Rapone, Strada la Croce, and he declared that on the day above indicated at 1 PM was born in his home to the declarant and to Angela Bartolomeo his legitimate wife of age 26, a female child who he presented to the official and to whom was given the name ROSA MARIA
At the presentation and declaration was present Arcangelo Bartolomeo, 46, peasant farmer residing in Rapone, Strada la Croce; and Canio Nicolais, 46, tavernkeeper residing in Rapone, strada abovesaid.
Last paragraph indicates that only the official signed as the others did not know how to write.
