Hello,
I am lucky enough to have received my Nonno's WW2 military record. But I struggle to translate some of the important pieces of information. I know it is too much to ask someone to translate the whole document. I just want to know which regiments he was in, so I can try to identify what he did during the war. I see that he was in the 9th Artillery Regiment, part of the Brennero division. But it seems like he moves around a bit, and it's confusing to understand which battles he was in.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Josie

It says that from June 11 until June 25 1940 he was on the Western Alpine front with the ninth Reggimento Artiglieria, Divisione Fanteria Brennero.
They fought on the road of Moncenisio, on the French border
From March 19 until April 23 1941, he was sent on the Greek - Albanian border, with the 15TH Reggimento Artilgieria, Divisione Fanteria (probably still the Brennero)
With the same reggimento he fought in Balcania? (ex Jugoslavia) from April 15 1941 until December 5 1941
About his Division you can read here

There is also a shorter English translation

Re: Help Translating My Nonno's WW2 Military Record
Out of curiosity does anyone know what medals were usually given to Italian soldiers in WW2 if they were not killed or injured? I've scoured this document, but am unable to see any awards or commemorations for Giuseppe, which seems strange, since soldiers are usually given at least a medal for being part of it.
