Appearing was Angelo Martone, 43yo, contadino, living in Frigento, to report that at 1.30 pm on 8 of the current month (8 September 1877) at a house in Salita Speranzella, No 8, Anna Maria Pugliese, his wife, contadina, living with him, gave birth to a female baby, who he presented to the official and named her Giulietta.

Witnesses: Vito Cozza, 33, Fabbro (blacksmith), and Saverio Solomita, 26yo, contadino, both residing in this town of Frigento.

(Both witnesses were illiterate so did not sign, but the declarant, Angelo Martone, was able to sign below.)
