I am having difficulty reading this death record for Maria Novelli. Could you tell me her age and her mother's name?

I am sorry that I have attached it twice. Seems like I always mess these things up. Sorry and thanks for any help,
Linda

Re: Help with age and mother's name
Linda,
As I read the mother's entry, the Ufficio tried to squeeze "della fu Mini Catterina" into that spot ("the deceased Catterina Mini"). He did the same with the father: "dal fu Ganano (?)". Not surprising given Maria Novelli's age (76 years).

I think Caterina's surname is Ricci. The father's first name is Famiano

Re: Help with age and mother's name
I agree on both. I had to look at the mother's name twice, then noticed the name after "stati presenti quali testimoni" looks like Minaldi, when the signature is clearly Rinaldi. I compared the father's name to the G in "nata in Gallese". It's closer to a F, than a G (although not much like the F in Febbraio).erudita74 wrote:I think Caterina's surname is Ricci. One of the days I'll get it.

Famiano was a saint in the 1100s. He died in Gallese.
