groom's father pietro di stefano, dies 27 june of the current year. groom's mother, anna maria schiavo, dies 'trenta agosto ultimo' - which last august? august 1816 or 1815?

thank you, livio. it is both interesting and confusing that for one date 'current year' is used and for another it is not.
