Can't find Rebecca Frateschi on any ship

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Can't find Rebecca Frateschi on any ship

Post by Ziata96 »

Rebecca Frateschi arrived probably 1884, 2 years after her husband Fabio Frateschi. I've searched Castle Garden and several other ports, but can't find her. She would have had 2 or 3 sons with her. She is from Ripafratta, near Florence.

She would have traveled under her maiden name.

Do you know the names of her son's?

Thanks for the info, Pippo!

Meanwhile, I have located Passport applications for Fabio Frateschi and Albert Frateschi on Ancestry.
BOTH of the passport applications include a PHOTO! :-) on the second page.
Here is the link.

FYI - Fabio arrived on the Grand Britain from Havre in March 1881, and was naturalized in 1896.
