Is this the birth record of 2x great grandmother Clara Negro, daughter of Francesco Negro and Maria Morra?

Post by OrangeBlossom44 »

Hello. I hope that one of you would be able to help me determine if this birth record might be for my 2nd great grandmother Clara Negro, daughter of Francesco Negro and Maria Morra. Her death record, which is much more legible than this one, indicates that she was born in Frinco around 1807-1808. I am having a great deal of difficulty reading Record 107. However, I do see the name Maria Morra, who is Clara's mother, in the text. If indeed this is Clara's birth record, I would greatly appreciate basic translation of facts. Thank you all very, very much!

Claire

On 1808 Aug 16, in front of the Mayor of Frinco appeared Francesco Negro, a farmer, aged 40, residing in Frinco, who presented a baby female born yesterday (Aug 15 1808) to his wife Maria Massa and to whom was given the name Clara Domenica.

Thank you, Livio. Does the birth record mention the names of Francesco's and Maria's parents?
Greatly appreciate your help.
