Birth Certificate For Agostina LaDuca

Post by Belsitoj »

Hello. The link below is the birth certificate for my grandmother Agostina LaDuca. I had a hard time interpreting it but I believe she was born April 3, 1885 but if you can help verify that I would appreciate that and other pertinent information on the document.
Thank you so much.
Joe

On April 4, 1885 in front of the Mayor of Caltanisetta appeared Salvatore La Duca, a sulfur miner, aged 31, residing in Caltanisetta, who presented a baby female born on April 3 in via Ponticello #107 to his wife Mariarosa Volpe and to whom was given the name Agostina.
Witnesses Alessandro Riggi and Antonino Latona, both sulfur miners.

Please note the correct spelling of the surname La Duca (2 words), in Italian you cannot have a capital letter in the middle of a word.
