Good afternoon!
My name's Jonas and I'm trying to find some information about a branch of my family whose surname is "Geribolla". They came to Brazil in the end of XIX century. I can't have any information of them in Italy.
Does anyone has a hint or advice about what province or region of Italy might them be?

I believe right spelling is GIRIBUOLA, and the birthplace is some Commune in Veneto region...

- Giovanni GIRIBUOLA born in Adria town (Rovigo province, Veneto region) on 21 Jul 1872, son of Francesco GIRIBUOLA and of Natalina BRAGHIN ( no Matilde, but Natalina first name).

Sab., after that I found right spelling of surname, and I found the right province, and searched in the archive, finding the right Giovanni, these are the shown infos:

For the periods before 1 September 1871, in Veneto the functions of the civil registration officials were carried out by the parish priests who were responsible for the writing and for the conservation of the baptismal, marriage, death, and other personal records.
So, to get the certificate of baptism of Francesco Giribuola, you must write to the parish # 1.
For the baptism of Matilde Braghin and the marriage Francesco Giribuola & Matilde Braghin, try parishes # 1 and # 2.
For the baptism of Luigia Maria Manfrinato, you must write to the parish # 3.
