Palermo marriage

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

I'm assuming the attached file is for marriages. If so I don't see parents for number 74. I know they are they are Peter siracusa and Angela Lionti.

The parents of the couple are not mentioned.
This is a record that the priest has "interrrogated" [met with] the couple and found no impediment to their plans to marry.

Thanks

Does that mean there is another certificate that's the actual marriage certificate?

Yes, there should be a marriage record in addition to this record of interrogation, I believe.

Thanks

Would the marriage happen right after, a year later?

The record you posted is the actual marriage record.

(Tessa, the line before the last reads "ma(trimo)nio coniunxi...")
