Can someone give me a read on this record of marriage? I think the grooms father is Sebastian Vivona. His mother's first name is a difficult read - maybe Vincenza? Gruppuso.
The bride's father appears to be Joseph Accardo but I'm having difficulty with the mother's name - maybe Maria? L something?
Any other info about banns, witnesses, whether parents were living or deceased at the time of marriage, etc. is always appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Marriage of Matteo Vivona & Antonina Accardo 1750
Thanks again Erudita.
Other witnesses are Diego Costa, and yes, Antonia Truglio. They're also direct ancestors of mine.
In fact, there are several Costa women of Matteo Vivona's generation that are ancestors of mine, a Margarita Costa who married Biagio Pampalone, Hieronymus Costa who married Nicolo Vona, and Antonina Costa (sister to the Giuseppe Costa who was witness to this marriage) who married Giuseppe Catalano.
I'm wondering how the Costa women are related (cousins maybe?)
Small world.

I'm sure you'll eventually figure out how the Costa women are related. Just keep digging.
