Hello, I have read thousands of church baptismal documents and seen many forms.
Some say whether each parent was born in the town, and if not where they were born.
But others say phrases more akin to "coniugi di questa parrocchia."
Does that mean
a) both parents are living in the parish at the time, or
b) both parents were born in/are from that parish
Thanks,
Coniugi di questa parrocchia
Coniugi di questa parrocchia
TIP: When asking for records from Italy, do NOT ask for an "estratto." ALWAYS ask for a "copia integrale." A photocopy of the original Act will contain more information
Re: Coniugi di questa parrocchia
Most of the times, it means the meaning is b)
Giuseppe "Pippo" Moccaldi
