Need Help Translating Birth Record

Post by isaballe »

Looking for the parents names and ages in the birth certificate. I got the marriage record upper left okay I think... 9 Dec 1903? to Carmelo Spinella. Please correct me if I got the date wrong.

The second part of those notes upper left I'm not sure what I'm reading. The name Sberna appears which I've seen listed as Benedetta's parents on Ancestry tree. At least now I know where that came from! Thanks for any help.

Benedetta was abandoned in the wheel of the foundling on 17 July 1886. The name Benedetta Pentesisco was assigned by the Civil State Officer. The baby was then given to Teresa Gambetta daught of dec Antonino to be nourrished.
On 12 Sept 1903 Benedetta married in Mistretta Carmelo Spinella (annotation written on 14 June 1904)
The annotation dated 23 May 1906 states that Benedetta was recognized to be the daughter of Benedettto Petuolo(?) son of dec Giuseppe and Maria Sterna(?), daughter of dec Paolo
