Help With Death Record - Anzelmo Scarpelli

Hi,

I believe this record is for my 3rd great grandfather, Anzelmo Scarpelli. I know his wife was Rosa Rex and they had a daughter, Grazia Gaetana Scarpelli (born May 27, 1861).

Can anyone please confirm that this is the same Anzelmo and provide a translation of the record?

Anzelmo Scarpelli died 1899 Sept 23, aged 72, farmer, born and residing in Rutiglione, son of dec Vito Domenico and dec Maria Lozupone, husband of Maria Carmela Rex

In the birth record of Grazia Gaetana Scarpelli (http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0) her mother's name is Maria Carmela Rex, not Rosa Rex, aged 30, daughter of Nicola. Her father is the same Anzelmo Scarpelli, aged 32, son of dec Vito Domenico.
On Jan 29 1887 Grazia Gaetana married Angelo Spagnuolo, son of Matteo.

Thanks for the help translating! Here's the record I found for Grazia's marriage to Nicola Colonna, so looks like she was married twice. This is also where I found her mothers name as Rosa. Record #61.

Thanks for the help translating! Here's the record I found for Grazia's marriage to Nicola Colonna, so looks like she was married twice. This is also where I found her mothers name as Rosa. Record #61. Her mother's name is Maria Rex on this record

Maria Carmela Rex on the birth record was just shortened to Maria Rex on the marriage record. I believe you have the same person here

On the birth act Anzelmo is the son of Vito Domenico [Scarpelli]. Vito Domenico is his father's given name. The surname is understood and is only stated if it is different. I can understand your confusion.
