Need Help Translating a Baptism Record

Post by molan »

Hi, please help us read a Baptism record from Lercara Friddi. The record is located here:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=1947613

It is for Guisto Romano, No 137 - Mar 31, 1903. We see his father as Guiseppe & his Mother as Margherita ?.

I've attached copies of the record also
Thanks
Gary

(This is a birth record, no baptism mentioned)

Birth No 137: Giusto Romano
Lercara Friddi: 31 March 1903
Giuseppe Romano, 26, mower/reaper, living in Lercara, reported that at 11.30 pm on 30 March 1903, at a house in Via Friddi, no number mentioned, from Margherita Tagliavia, housewife, his wife living with him, was born a male who was given the name Giusto.

(The other names mentioned are just the witnesses.)

Yes, that makes sense. It ties in with the marriage record that I looked at today. I intended to go back and look at this record to recheck the occupation. Grazie, Livio :)
