translation of an opposition to marriage document

Can someone translate this for me? Looks like an opposition to a family marriage! Could be very interesting>

This is a certificate of no opposition to the marriage. A standard form certifying that the banns were posted/made public for a certain length of time and there was no opposition.

Toward the bottom you will see "non vi è stato opposizione" - There was no opposition.
