Hi Sam,
Have you tried this website? There are birth, marriage and death records in Italian. :-)

My family is from Pagani, and as far as I know there are no resources online, except the one mmogno mentioned.
As I will probably be there in July, I might be able to make some search for you while researching for me.
So, if you can be more accurate, I can tell you if I can help you some way.

Hey all, it seems easier to find the men in my family than the women. Can anyone assist me in finding:

Birth records for Maddalena Sandomenico in Sarno Italy around 1867

The daughters of Agostino Chiariello and Margherita Speziale (San Gregorio Magno)

The daughter of Maddalena Sandomenico and Raffaele Ferrante (Pagani/Salerno) in 1896

Can you please assist with finding records for Sicignano degli Alburni.

Giuseppe Saggese born there some time between 1880 and 1890. He was married there before he left for the USA sometime between 1906 and 1908.

We are near Salerno and will be for a couple of weeks, so can go and pick up the records if we know where to go. We would like both birth certificates for Guiseppe Saggese and his wife and their marriage certificate.

We are also happy to pay someone to get the certificates for us as we do not speak much Italian. Can you help at all?

Thank you,

John and Debbie (Saggese)

Sorry, but I was away for a while.
It might be this one:

Saggese
Nome: Giuseppe
Classe: 1887
Comune di nascita: Sicignano degli Alburni
Full text:
Saggese Giuseppe di Matteo e Miraglia Caterina nato il 7/10/1887 a Sicignano degli Alburni di professione manca

If you are sure that's him, you can go to the Archivio di Stato in Salerno, and get the record.
I send you a PM with my email address for further info.
