Act #13
Mariano Dileo
Dated 31 January 1876 at the town office in Palazzo Adriano
Declaring the death - Giuseppe Lorino, 50, gravedigger residing this town; and Antonino Maggiore, 43, gravedigger residing this town.
They declared that at 6:30 AM today at the house in Via Carmine #12, died Mariano Dileo, age 66, shoemaker residing in this town, born in this town to deceased Giuseppe [Dileo], shoemaker... and to deceased Carmela Adrignola, farmer residing this town; husband of Caterina Calliva`.
Witnesses to the record: Nicolo' Cannella, 50, farmer; and Fortunato Digiovanni, 40, farmer.

For future posts, it would be helpful if you would post the link (if you can) to the record. It makes it easier to enlarge. :-)

Hello T.,

Thank you so very much for your help translating Mariano Dileo's Death Certificate. I can read some Italian, but I was having trouble with his mother's last name and wife's last name.

Going forward I will post the link to the record.

Warm regards,
Janet

Yes, the mother's last name was very difficult to read. But using the link I could get the image much larger without blurring. Adrignola is found in the town. :-)

The wife's surname looks like Callida, but in the town the name is Calliva'

Happy to have helped!
