Hello and thank you in advance for your help. All of my ancestors were Italian citizens, but my parents became naturalized US citizens in 1965. Here are some additional details:

Can anyone help?
Re: Confused about Dual Citizenship Eligibility
I don't think this works for you, but you may want to ask BBCWatcher at www.italiancitizenship.freeforums.org He really is an expert on Italian citizenship law.
I believe (but I am not sure) that your grandmother would have had to live in the US for a specific number of years in order to pass US citizenship to her son. If he were born a US citizen, he would have obtained a Certificate of Citizenship rather than a Certificate of Naturalization. If he did indeed naturalize, there was no way to prove his US citizenship, and that leaves you out of luck.
(You say your gm never became a US citizen, but it appears she was born one. Did she know this? Did she obtain citizenship for her son?)
If there is a way to prove your father was born a US citizen, I think BBCWatcher can help.

Re: Confused about Dual Citizenship Eligibility
Thank you for the reply. I will try to follow up with BBCWatcher. (I apologize for the error about my paternal grandmother. I meant to write none of my other grandparents became US citizens. My paternal grandmother was born a US citizen.) Thanks again for your help.
