The year is 1747 not 1727.

Banns on Jan 15, 22, and 29th resulted in no impediments to the marriage. I believe the date of the marriage is Feb 5, 1747 (the 5 is a little difficult to decipher accurately).

Groom: Giuseppe Mistretta, son of Vincenzo and Pietra (Mistretta), a married couple of this Mother Church and the town of Alcamo

Bride: Anna Manno, daughter of deceased Baldassare* and Tommasa (Manno) of this town.

Witnesses: Vincenzo d'Angelo, son of deceased Giuseppe (d'Angelo) and Sebastiano Reginella, son of deceased Andrea (Reginella)

*In the index(image 13), his name is Baldassare, but in his marriage record to Tommasa (image 92-folio 147), his name is Bartolomeo.

Diane

about the 1716 marriage record for Baldassare Manno and Tomassa Risico-what I was reading as Bartolomeo in the record is part of the name of his parish (Saints Paul and Bartholomew). I'll post the record sometime later today, as I have to get to a class and then will be out for several hours.

The 1716 marriage I referenced above is not correct. Baldassare Manno and Tomassa Risico married on Sept 22, 1721, image 190 of 3137. I'm having a problem with the names of his parents in the record.

* I hope I have his parents correct. Tried to find other records to confirm the names, but have had no luck.
