Hi, please help us read a Death record from Geraci Siculo.

It is the 1874 Death Act #26 Maria Iuppa - daughter of Gaetano Iuppa & Maria Grazia Murgia and wife of Giuseppe Musciotto.

There's obviously an error in reporting the surname of Maria Iuppa's mother. There is no mention of the surname Murgia that I can see. It is possible that the two men reporting the death did not know the mother's surname.

Death No 26: Maria Iuppa, daughter of deceased Gaetano, and deceased Maria Grazia Iuppa
Geraci Siculo: 7 March 1874, 3 pm

Appearing were Stefano Maggio, 69 yo, villico, and Antonio Chichi, 41 yo, villico, living in this town, who reported that today (7 March 1874), Maria Iuppa, died from an aneurysm. She was 53 yo, wife of Giuseppe Musciotto, born and living in this town, and the daughter of deceased Gaetano Iuppa and deceased Maria Grazia Iuppa.
