Conegliano Wine School 1920's

As a nation state, Italy has emerged only in 1871. Until then the country was politically divided into a large number of independant cities, provinces and islands. The currently available evidences point out to a dominant Etruscan, Greek and Roman cultural influence on today's Italians.

Conegliano Wine School 1920's

Post by Ben Crowden »

Attached is a picture of my great-grandfather, apparently he may have been involved with the School of Wine and Agriculture in Conegliano in the 1920's. Does anyone know anything about the school, or live in the area? I'd love to know more, plus find some more relatives etc!

Thanks! Any idea who I could contact who would know more? Also, I saw you do research for Italian Roots? I'm guessing you can find things that Ancestry can't? I've tried looking for records for my great-grandparents on the online archive, but haven't found anything as of yet!
