Marriage of Calogero Charles Interrante and Carmela Indelicato in Boston ca 1935?

Ciao:

I am trying to locate info pertaining to the marriage of my grandparents, Calogero (Charles) Interrante (born 1897,Sciacca) and Carmela (aka Millie) Indelicato (born 1915, Boston).

The closest I have been able to come is the 1940 U.S. Census which has them living in East Boston. Status is listed as married and it says they were living at that same address in 1935. My assumption is they were married sometime between 1930 and 1935 in Boston. I do not know if they were later divorced. My grandmother later remarried (Al Tontodonato). She may have done so after my grandfather died in 1978.

On the census they list my grandfather's citizenship status as "AL." My assumption is that this means "Alien" and not a naturalized citizen. Can anyone confirm that is what AL stands for?

Thanks for anyone who may be able to help me track down their marriage date and place.

Yes, AL usually means "alien" status - not naturalized.
You will see PA sometimes when the process has been started - "first papers"
And NA when naturalized.

Here is the Massachusetts Marriage index for years 1931-1935
It provides the year of marriage, but not the specific date. Instead it gives the Volume and page number to find it.

Carmela's listed age is 24; first child's age is 7 which would make the marriage about 1932/1933. All children born in Massachusetts.
