translation of letters?

Post by laurendfilm »

I have a number of letters that my uncle has just sent me from my great-grandmother to her family in Italy. Of course they are in Italian, and between the Italian and the cursive, I'm having a hard time understanding and Google translate is not helping. Would anyone be willing to translate these for me?

Thank you!

There are quite a few pages here!
It will take some time... there is no punctuation in the first 12 images of the letters, and some issues with spelling and grammar. And they are not in order...
The last 4 pages (another letter) are much neater but do not enlarge as well.

Meanwhile...

The first 3 images
are an extract of birth of Angela Maria Cecere from the town of S. Arcangelo Trimonte, in the book of births for 1894 in that town. #15
Date of the original record is 17 February 1894 at 4:25 PM at the town office.
Before the official appeared Carmela Ciliberti, 52, midwife residing in S. Arcangelo Trimonte to declare that at 9:05 PM on the 16th of the current month, at the house in Via Pastizzo #38, to Maria Giuseppa Iammarina, farmer, wife of Giovanni Cecere, farmer, both residing in S. Arcangelo Trimonte, was born a female child who she presented, and to whom was given the name Angela Maria.
To the above and the recording of this act were present as witnesses, Alfonso Carasia, 59, farmer; and Francescantonio Panarese, 73, farmer, both residing in this town.
The declarant (Ciliberti) made the presentation because she assisted with the birth, and in the place of the husband of Iammarina, as he was unable because he was far from the town. Only the official signed as the other participants were illiterate.
This copy (extract) conforms to the original and was released at the request of Giovanni Cecere for work.
Dated 8 February 1920 in S. Arcangelo Trimonte.
